While studying journalism and political science at the University of Minnesota, I spent most of my time at our national award-winning student newspaper, the Minnesota Daily, and radio station, Radio K. I also worked as a paid intern at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, The Current, Star Tribune and American Public Media's investigative unit, APM Reports.

After graduating in May 2017, I taught writing and media literacy for Minneapolis Community Education’s Super Summer Program and the Journalistic Learning Initiative in Eugene, Oregon. In April 2018, I returned to the Twin Cities area for an enterprise position at RiverTown Multimedia, which is part of Forum Communications. I focused on education in South Washington County and Hastings until the newspapers closed at the onset of the pandemic in April 2020. Since then, I've been freelancing while also reporting daily features and breaking news stories for Bring Me The News

By the way, I also dogsit. Now accepting inquiries.
